INITIAL CONCEPT
The Initial Concept is where your journey begins and would include a preliminary chat about your requirements, design ambitions and budget. During this meeting, we aim to discover more about you to help us build an itemised brief as well as investigate different finishes and styles that align with your tastes. Once we are confident we’re able to tailor your space around you, we’ll interpret this brief in the form of a mood board and floor plan presentation. Additionally, these will highlight any structural changes if needed and include specific finish samples to ensure that we are on the same page.
DETAILED DESIGN
Once the Initial Concept is confirmed, Detailed Design can begin. Here, you will start to form a vision of your subsequent home. Our team will also produce a detailed conceptual illustration and put a tender package together should you wish for us to project manage the work. During this stage, along with the drawings themself, we’ll also present the finishing touches to you, such as fabrics, lighting, flooring and more. This is where the final decisions are made, an exciting stage to be at when creating a truly custom-made home.
FF&E DESIGN
Your space should be a reflection of you, there’s no doubt about that, so the right Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment really do matter. Thankfully, we have built a trusted network which allows us to source the best FF&E elements for our clients, ensuring they get the look they dream of. FF&E encompasses everything in a scheme that isn’t bolted in place, i.e. bespoke pieces, coffee tables, and art. Our team will handle all aspects of this, including the source and supply. After all, it’s these bespoke specifications that make a house a home.
DESIGN PROJECT MANAGEMENT
If you’re looking for a one-stop-shop to bring your vision to life, our team are on hand to deliver your project from the start to completion. Working closely with a variety of surveyors, contractors and more, we’ll act as the main point of contact for you, ensuring every aspect of the design is fulfilled to our exacting standards. At Studio Grove, we’ll also closely monitor the progress on site with frequent visits and keep you fully updated throughout. Additionally, if you appoint any specialist external subcontractors such as bathroom or kitchen suppliers, we’ll manage these parties to ensure a seamless process.
FF&E INSTALLATION AND STYLING
This is the final stage of our process, once the interior is complete and post-construction cleaning (if needed) has been done. Here, we aim to ensure the successful implementation of pieces from our ever-growing FF&E supply chain. We want you to feel right at home from the very first day. This phase can be as in-depth as you’d like or left solely to you. Some clients very much enjoy getting involved with the decorative aspect. If not, allow us to dress your new space with pieces tailored to you. It’s these stylistic items that’ll add warmth and charm.
